Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Djinn Guide (djinnguide.com), operated by CadUnlock LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies. It completes our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used for statistics or advertising.

The short version

We keep cookies to a minimum. Djinn Guide does not use advertising cookies and does not show ads that track you. We use Google Analytics, with IP addresses anonymized, to understand which guides help readers most.

Cookies that may be used on this site

  • Security cookies. Our security and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell real visitors apart from bots and protect the site from attacks. It does not identify you personally.
  • Form protection. Our newsletter, review and consultation forms may use temporary tokens or browser storage to prevent spam and duplicate submissions.
  • Site administration. WordPress sets login cookies only for our own team when they are signed in to manage the site. Regular visitors do not receive them.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and how visitors arrive, in aggregate form. It sets cookies such as _ga. IP addresses are anonymized and Google Signals (advertising features) is turned off. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Security and form cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work. Analytics cookies are optional: see “How to control cookies” below.

Cookies set by other websites

When you click a link to another website, such as Amazon or our partner PuraTarot, that website may set its own cookies, for example to record that you arrived from our site. Those cookies are controlled by the other website and covered by its own cookie and privacy policies.

If this changes

If we ever add advertising or other optional cookies, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting them.

How to control cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies only. Blocking necessary cookies may stop some features, such as our forms, from working correctly.
